THERE Stories is a Maui-based social media management agency. But, let’s back up…

It all started with a 1975 VW camper van and a desire to “enjoy the ride”- OR – “be THERE,” as we like to say. This quickly led us to create our blog and social media account, which we designed to share our experiences at Maui’s delicious restaurants, unique activities and distinct shops so visitors and locals alike could use it to be THERE while on their own adventures.

Along the way, we also fell deeply in love with telling the stories of these businesses through their perspective. With nearly 15 years of professional marketing experience working for industry leaders and household names in beauty, travel and hospitality, we found ourselves uniquely positioned to marry our penchant for social media storytelling with the skills we’ve honed behind corporate desks.

With that, THERE Stories was born. THERE Stories allows us to get to know the company from the inside out and help tell its story through social media to foster community, turn followers into fans, and fans into customers. In a fast-paced and ever-evolving social media world, we keep our fingers on the social media pulse so you don’t have to.

Meet The Team

After graduating with distinction from New York University with a Master of Science in Public Relations and Corporate Communication, Klara Crocco learned the ropes of marketing and PR at L’Oreal USA in New York City.

In 2014, she traded the stilettos for slippers and booked a one-way ticket to paradise. Since moving to Hawaii, Klara has held director level marketing and public relations positions at some of Maui’s largest resorts, including The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas, The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas and Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa, where she was named “Hyatt Americas 2019 Marketing Team Member of the Year.”

Brandon Stafford is the savvy business mind behind THERE Stories. He also manages social media analytics reporting and identifies trends in data to help us deliver the best possible results for our clients. Additionally, Brandon is our main cameraman for content creation shoots.

Together, this power pair make an unstoppable Maui-based team.
